It's Not About Islam, Again

Foreign Policy:

According to the Washington Post, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev "told interrogators that the American wars in Iraq and Afghanistan motivated him and his brother to carry out the attack." Policymakers and pundits will dismiss this rationalization with little acknowledgment, analysis, or certainly sympathy. Moreover, even if we could agree that we had perfect information for why the attacks happened -- based upon the perpetrators' words, and corroborated with official investigations -- we won't engage in honest self-reflection or change public policy in response. First, no state wants to acknowledge that their policies, institutions, or culture might contain any flaws that could serve as primary motivations for terrorism. Politicians cannot accept any correlation between domestic or foreign policies and terror attacks.
So, let's get this straight. The author, Micah Zenko, believes we should reflect on how our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan may have instigated a terrorist attack. Those wars were a result of attacks and provocations by Muslim countries, but we probably brought that on ourselves as well, I suppose. However, even if the perpetrator admits, and the evidence shows that Islam was the motivator, we should reflect on how our 'policies, institutions and culture' contributed to the crime. The values of Islam and those of Islamic societies are never questioned. When we're attacked, it's cause for self-criticism.

The 'we' in the article is the United States, of course, and even though Muslims carry out several terror attacks worldwide every day, that overwhelmingly common denominator doesn't really matter. There just has to be some commonality between the policies, institutions and cultures of The United States, UK, Spain, Indonesia, Russia, India, Tunisia and everywhere else Muslims have slaughtered unsuspecting victims. Oddly enough, the policies, institutions, and cultures of Iran and Saudi Arabia don't inspire much in the way of terrorism on their soil. Weird, huh?

Actually no, this hackneyed meme'  only applies to the west in general, and America in particular.  As intellectually and morally bankrupt as that sounds, it's what passes for sophisticated thought by self-loathing westerners. The fact that it's espoused by a PhD from The Council on Foreign Relations and Harvard is just more proof that higher education in the U.S. is no longer about the pursuit of truth and knowledge. It's about the pursuit of rationales in support of Left Wing conclusions, no matter how glaringly stupid and morally obtuse those rationales may be.

These terrorists were also products of an American, Blue State education. Perhaps they were just very good students and fully digested the anti-American indoctrination they were fed.

Update: OK, it's now self-parody:

"Could the amateur boxing career of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the deceased suspect in last week’s Boston Marathon bombings, have had a role in the massacre? That’s a question leading brain researchers at Boston University’s School of Medicine hope medical examiners look into when they perform an autopsy of the 26-year-old who was killed during a firefight with law enforcement officials early Friday morning."
Update: And the hits keep coming!

"[H]e was angry that the world pictures Islam as a violent religion.”
From an e-mail to a New York Times reporter by the former brother-in-law of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, explaining the Boston bomber's motives.

Holy Land Foundation Guilty

We've had a major legal victory against the enemy the left refuses to name or fight:

"A federal jury in Dallas on Monday dealt the Stealth Jihad initiative in the United States a crushing defeat: it found five former officials of an Islamic charity, the Holy Land Foundation (HLF), guilty of funneling at least $12 million of the charity’s funds to the jihad terror group Hamas. The notorious “Muslim civil rights” group, the Council on American Islamic Relations, is involved as well, since Ghassan Elashi, a founding director of CAIR as well as founder of the group’s Texas chapter, was among those found guilty; Elashi and his co-defendants face prison sentences of up to twenty years for providing support to terrorists.

Another unsavory link between the HLF and the global jihad
came to light during the first trial of the charity, which ended in a mistrial last year. Found among the HLF’s documents was the Muslim Brotherhood memorandum about its “grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within” first came to light. It seems clear now that the HLF itself was one of the chief engines of this stealthy effort, enjoying a sterling reputation as a charitable organization while actually acting as a virtual fundraising engine for Hamas.

One chief operating procedure of this stealth jihad effort is constantly to portray oneself as being unjustly victimized by a racist and bigoted Justice Department. (Al-Qaeda manuals, similarly, advise imprisoned members to claim that they have been tortured whenever and wherever they may find themselves in an infidel prison.)

I can't wait until we close Gitmo and give these barbarians the constitutional benefits of US courts. Here' some video of the peaceful religion of Islam that is oddly responsible for almost all of the terrorism, violence and wars in this world.

Hamas Suspicious of Obama

Via MemriTV - It's cool dudes. Barry was just sending props to the self loathing dupes in New York and Miami. You psychotic assholes don't have to worry ,what with all The One's Jew hating friends and allies.

"Sheik Abdallah Abu Jarbu’: Barack Obama has won. Is he good or bad for the Arabs? Before you talk about this or that, you should know that no American leader has ever won their elections, unless he pledged his loyalty to the Jews in advance. Obama went to the Wailing Wall, put on their skullcap, shed tears just like they do, and lamented their sorrow, but he did not mention the Palestinian people at all. He talked about the suffering of the Jews and about the Holocaust, but he did not even mention the people of Beit Hanoun, who were killed while sleeping in their homes."

Secret Orders Let Us Kill the Enemy!

Does anyone have a problem with this?

WASHINGTON — The United States military since 2004 has used broad, secret authority to carry out nearly a dozen previously undisclosed attacks against Al Qaeda and other militants in Syria, Pakistan and elsewhere, according to senior American officials.

Isn't that exactly what G.W. Bush said we were going to do and everyone was on board with it? We as a country vowed in 2001 that AQ would have no safe haven and that any country that harbored them was our enemy as well. There were "Huzzahs!" all around.

Do we want to wait for another 9/11 plot to come out Syria or Somalia as it did in Afghanistan? Or do we want kill these cowards wherever they are. And is anyone seriously suggesting that these governments didn't know AQ was operating within their borders?

The anti-American leftist media is reporting this revelation as if it's a shocking violation of...something or other. I see it as a comforting confirmation that we're allowing our military to do its job. How long that will last remains to be seen.

LA Times: We Promised Not to Release the Tape

Do we really need to see the video in order to add this creep to the huge stinking pile of evidence that Obama is a dangerous anti-American radical?

"A major news organization is intentionally suppressing information that could provide a clearer link between Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi," said McCain campaign spokesman Michael Goldfarb. " . . . The election is one week away, and it's unfortunate that the press so obviously favors Barack Obama that this campaign must publicly request that the Los Angeles Times do its job -- make information public.

"The Times on Tuesday issued a statement about its decision not to post the tape."The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," said the newspaper's editor, Russ Stanton. "The Times keeps its promises to sources."

Here's the original story and Obama's presence alone is sufficient, although the relationship goes far beyond just a farewell party:

A special tribute came from Khalidi's friend and frequent dinner companion, the young state Sen. Barack Obama. Speaking to the crowd, Obama reminisced about meals prepared by Khalidi's wife, Mona, and conversations that had challenged his thinking...

His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been "consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. . . . It's for that reason that I'm hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation -- a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid's dinner table," but around "this entire world."

There were other speakers as well. Did Obama not hear them just as he didn't hear 20 years of racist, Marxist and anti-American rants from Jeremiah Wright? Or is it exactly what it appears to be?

At Khalidi's 2003 farewell party, for example, a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, "then you will never see a day of peace.

"One speaker likened "Zionist settlers on the West Bank" to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been "blinded by ideology."

It's sad and frustrating that Jews still overwhelmingly support The One. They say "never forget" when it comes to the Holocaust but turn a blind eye to Obama's long list of alliances with those who would like to see it happen again. Their liberalism apparently trumps the well being of Jews everywhere and I find myself in the perverse position of caring more about them than they do.

How extensive is Obama's relationship with this anti-semetic terrorist sympathizer? From Discover The Networks:

Khalidi is longtime a friend of Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. In the 1990s, Obama and his wife were regular dinner guests at Khalidi's Chicago home. During the 2000 election cycle, Mr. and Mrs. Khalidi organized a fundraiser for Barack Obama's unsuccessful congressional bid. In 2001 and again in 2002, the Woods Fund of Chicago, while Mr. Obama served on its board, made grants totaling $75,000 to Khalidi's Arab American Action Network. In 2003 Obama would attend a farewell party in Khalidi's honor when the latter was leaving the University of Chicago to embark on his new position at Columbia.

In a 2008 interview, Khalidi praised Obama effusively, stating that, if elected President, Obama would be more understanding of the Palestinian experience than other politicians. "He has family literally all over the world," Khalidi noted. "I feel a kindred spirit from that."

Terrorists For Mc'Cain?

Nicholas Kristoff puts forth the ridiculous notion that Al-Qaeda endorses Mc'Cain and uses as evidence a comment on a message board at an Islamo-Fascist Web Site. Well, that proves it then!

That would put them at odds with all the other thugs and psychopaths that have endorsed Obama. That group of solid Citizens of The World includes, but is not limited to: Hamas, Kim Jong Il, Fidel Castro, Louis Farrakhan, Moammar Qadafi, William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, FARC and The New Black Panther Party.

Kristoff says that a Mc'Cain Presidency would just make people angry, whereas an Obama Presidency will convince 100 million or so extremists to disown their divine belief in a world wide caliphate and the slaughter or subjugation of all who would oppose them:

"An American president who keeps troops in Iraq indefinitely, fulminates about Islamic terrorism, inclines toward military solutions and antagonizes other nations is an excellent recruiting tool. In contrast, an African-American president with a Muslim grandfather and a penchant for building bridges rather than blowing them up would give Al Qaeda recruiters fits."

Yeah, that's it. Kill em' with kindness. That will teach them! Killers that blow up civilians indiscriminately, behead "infidels" on the Internet and murder over cartoons are always open to "building bridges". Then they'll hang you from them.

And the 11,000+ attacks these savages have committed worldwide since 9/11 were because George Bush "fulminates about Islamic terrorism", as if denouncing Barbarism creates more Barbarians. Obama could just ignore the problem as Bill Clinton essentially did. That worked out well.

Kristoff and his pacifist ilk seem immune from the lessons of history. Tyrants and bullies always view appeasement as weakness. Neville Chamberlain learned that the hard way and Kristoff is determined to as well. This enemy views the destruction of western culture as a divine calling and no amount of feel good nonsense will change their mind. Although when it comes to American culture Obama...no Al-Qaeda...no wait a minute. Who were we talking about?

The Third Jihad

The terrorist front group CAIR has been going after the makers of the film Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West after they paid to have it placed in newspapers across the country. The same producers have now completed The Third Jihad: Radical Islam’s Vision for America, which will hopefully drive CAIR nuts too while reminding complacent Americans of the very real threat of Islamo-fascism, not just as a foreign terrorist issue but as a home-grown fifth column.

Paul Mc'Cartney Threatened by Islamo-Fascist

I wonder if the Celebutard crowd would at least care about this:

"Self-styled preacher of hate Omar Bakri claimed the former Beatle’s decision to take part in the Jewish state’s 60th anniversary celebrations had made him an enemy of all Muslims...

“Instead of supporting the people of Palestine in their suffering, McCartney is celebrating the atrocities of the occupiers. The one who is under occupation is supposed to be getting the help.

“And so I believe for Paul McCartney, what he is doing really is creating more enemies than friends.”

Explaining his comments, Bakri told the Sunday Express: “Our enemy’s friend is our enemy.“Thus Paul McCartney is the enemy of every Muslim.

We have what we call ‘sacrifice’ operatives who will not stand by while he joins in a celebration of their oppression.“If he values his life Mr McCartney must not come to Israel. He will not be safe there. The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for him.”
