It's Not About Islam, Again

Foreign Policy:

According to the Washington Post, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev "told interrogators that the American wars in Iraq and Afghanistan motivated him and his brother to carry out the attack." Policymakers and pundits will dismiss this rationalization with little acknowledgment, analysis, or certainly sympathy. Moreover, even if we could agree that we had perfect information for why the attacks happened -- based upon the perpetrators' words, and corroborated with official investigations -- we won't engage in honest self-reflection or change public policy in response. First, no state wants to acknowledge that their policies, institutions, or culture might contain any flaws that could serve as primary motivations for terrorism. Politicians cannot accept any correlation between domestic or foreign policies and terror attacks.

So, let's get this straight. The author, Micah Zenko, believes we should reflect on how our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan may have instigated a terrorist attack. Those wars were a result of attacks and provocations by Muslim countries, but we probably brought that on ourselves as well, I suppose. However, even if the perpetrator admits, and the evidence shows that Islam was the motivator, we should reflect on how our 'policies, institutions and culture' contributed to the crime. The values of Islam and those of Islamic societies are never questioned. When we're attacked, it's cause for self-criticism.

The 'we' in the article is the United States, of course, and even though Muslims carry out several terror attacks worldwide every day, that overwhelmingly common denominator doesn't really matter. There just has to be some commonality between the policies, institutions and cultures of The United States, UK, Spain, Indonesia, Russia, India, Tunisia and everywhere else Muslims have slaughtered unsuspecting victims. Oddly enough, the policies, institutions, and cultures of Iran and Saudi Arabia don't inspire much in the way of terrorism on their soil. Weird, huh? 

Actually no, this hackneyed meme'  only applies to the west in general, and America in particular.  As intellectually and morally bankrupt as that sounds, it's what passes for sophisticated thought by self-loathing westerners. The fact that it's espoused by a PhD from The Council on Foreign Relations and Harvard is just more proof that higher education in the U.S. is no longer about the pursuit of truth and knowledge.It's about the pursuit of rationales in support of Left Wing conclusions, no matter how glaringly stupid and morally obtuse those rationales may be.

These terrorists were also products of an American, Blue State education. Perhaps they were just very good students and fully digested the anti-American indoctrination they were fed.

Film maker blasts UK over ban

LONDON, England (CNN) -- "Controversial Dutch filmmaker Geert Wilders condemned as "crazy and cowardly" Britain's refusal to let him enter the country Thursday.

The video above is Egyptian Islamo-Nazi cleric Amin Al-Ansari not only predictably blaming Jews for every problem in the world, but gleefully celebrating Nazi atrocities as he salivates over film footage of their murder and torture.

OIC: Reality is Bigotry

The Organisation of The Islamic Conference is once again turning logic on its head with an admonition that we shouldn't identify the Mumbai terrorists for what they are: Muslims.

In a press release laughably entitled "Islam, the religion of peace, tolerance and compassion" the OIC decries as "malicious" any attempt to acknowledge the linkage the terrorists themselves make with Islam:

"It is frustrating to see some circles, still, maliciously trying to establish conceptual link between such evil and wicked practices and Islam, the religion that condemns, scorns and outlaws them.

It is on the premise of this irrefutable fact that we, in the OIC, call upon all well-intentioned peoples of the world, not to give to these criminals any right to present Islam, a right that Islam itself denies them. Those who refer to the perpetrators, as acting on behalf of Islam, help them by offering them justification, anchor and premise that they don't have or deserve. On the other hand, the generalization of the guilt of a few aberrant misguided individuals, to engulf the adherents of a religion of 1.5 billion followers is an outrageous judgment and amounts to an illegal collective punishment on a global scale. Moreover, any attempt to implicate all Muslims in such a wicked and wanton acts goes contrary to the well established principles of international law."

The only people that are collectively punishing Muslims are Muslim terrorists. There have been over 12,000 Muslim terrorist attacks worldwide since 9/11 and these guys have the balls to tell us not to name the perpetrators what they name themselves?

That's like Germans getting angry for linking Nazis to Germany. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but almost all terrorists today are Muslims. But I shouldn't state that simple fact? GFY.

The membership of the OIC is populated by some of the most repressive, intolerant and brutal governments in the world, including but not limited to: Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran, Syria, Mali, Mauritania and Chad.

These regimes either outlaw religions other than Islam, condone slavery, support genocide, support Islamic terrorists themselves or all of the above plus a whole lot more crimes against humanity. And every one of these tyrants actively foment rabid hatred of Jews. Peace, tolerance and compassion my foot.

So these Islamo-Fascists can spare me the lectures on tolerance and go clean up the cesspool in their own backyards before criticising everyone Else's. This infidel wont be cowed by transparent attempts at intimidating me into silence.

Holy Land Foundation Guilty

We've had a major legal victory against the enemy the left refuses to name or fight:

LA Times: We Promised Not to Release the Tape

Do we really need to see the video in order to add this creep to the huge stinking pile of evidence that Obama is a dangerous anti-American radical?

In a 2008 interview, Khalidi praised Obama effusively, stating that, if elected President, Obama would be more understanding of the Palestinian experience than other politicians. "He has family literally all over the world," Khalidi noted. "I feel a kindred spirit from that."

Nicholas Kristoff puts forth the ridiculous notion that Al-Qaeda endorses Mc'Cain and uses as evidence a comment on a message board at an Islamo-Fascist Web Site. Well, that proves it then!

That would put them at odds with all the other thugs and psychopaths that have endorsed Obama. That group of solid Citizens of The World includes, but is not limited to: Hamas, Kim Jong Il, Fidel Castro, Louis Farrakhan, Moammar Qadafi, William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, FARC and The New Black Panther Party.

Kristoff says that a Mc'Cain Presidency would just make people angry, whereas an Obama Presidency will convince 100 million or so extremists to disown their divine belief in a world wide caliphate and the slaughter or subjugation of all who would oppose them:

Kristoff and his pacifist ilk seem immune from the lessons of history. Tyrants and bullies always view appeasement as weakness. Neville Chamberlain learned that the hard way and Kristoff is determined to as well. The Third Jihad

The terrorist front group CAIR has been going after the makers of the film Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West after they paid to have it placed in newspapers across the country. The same producers have now completed The Third Jihad: Radical Islam’s Vision for America, which will hopefully drive CAIR nuts too while reminding complacent Americans of the very real threat of Islamo-fascism, not just as a foreign terrorist issue but as a home-grown fifth column.

Well in all fairness, Obama didn't say anything about meeting without Iranian preconditions, just the United States. Besides, Obama and Jackson aren't going to find those Iranian requirements to be unreasonable anyway.

Obama's Foreign Policy

The government at first said that his papers weren't in order and that he left "voluntarily". Yeah, what would have happened had he volunteered to stay?

Today the Kenyan government changed its story and said that Corsi was deported because "Corsi displayed inconsistent conduct with the expected norms of good behaviour in the country." Like what?

It would seem that Obama's thugs are not just limited to those stifling criticism of The One here in the states. Obama opponents would be wise to stay out of Kenya, Somalia, Gaza, Iran, Venezuela ...
