Nonsense. Look at this fool's examples. Everyone one of those countries is dysfunctional and corrupt. Crop yields in free countries with private property rights have increased exponentially over the years. There is plenty of arable land in the world that could feed everyone many times over were it not for dictators and tyrants subjugating their citizens into a subsistence
existence. Does the fact that billions of people still farm with Ox driven plows and other ancient techniques enter into the pea-brains of the hysterics?

In other words, our economy and way of life should be subject to the whims of countries that are invested in our failure. Which is just fine with him. Like all big government elitists, he won't be subject to the rules he would impose on everyone else. It's about equality by taking us down, not raising everyone else up. That would require more personal liberty in the world and we can't have that.
