Of course they don't since the free market is rejecting their crummy product. Now they project their own feelings and wishful thinking on the rest of the country by telling us that:
"Now, to a degree not seen in years, politicians and outside experts are looking with favor at more, not less, government involvement in the economy."
The fact that our most troubled industries eg. Energy, Housing, Mortgages, Health care etc. are already the most heavily regulated is a risible irony that's obviously lost on them. The computer industry seems to be doing just fine without the command and control economics that works so well in Cuba and North Korea. Former Soviet countries, the Chinese and India have learned the hard way how misery follows government meddling. But the thick as a brick leftists here want to go the other way.
